Established in 2019, Carrborobotics is a FIRST® Robotics Competition team. We are based in Carrboro, North Carolina, and represent the students of Carrboro High School. Currently, our team is student-led by two captains, with the guidance of our lead mentor, Dr. Morais.

We strive to inspire students to pursue STEM careers and promote innovation and impact through robotics competitions. We prioritize creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking to design robots that excel in competitions. We value diversity and its importance in building a successful team.

Beyond bettering the students in our team, Carrborobotics also aims to elevate all schools in our community. We engage with our local lower schools, Mary Scroggs Elementary, and Culbreth Middle, bringing our own interactive events and robot demos to spark an interest in robotics at a young age.
